John Morales – The M&M Mixes Signed 3xLP

John Morales – The M&M Mixes Signed 3xLP

This triple-vinyl edition of John Morales – The M&M Mixes is signed and inscribed by John Morales and was gifted directly to Victor Simonelli in the early 2000s.

The front cover carries a handwritten dedication from Morales to Victor, signed in marker across the sleeve. The set comprises three LPs and is titled NYC Underground Disco Anthems + Previously Unreleased Exclusive Salsoul Mixes, documenting Morales’ influential remix work under the M&M Productions banner.

Morales was a key figure in 1980s New York dance music. One of his later-1980s productions was for Denise Lopez - a project that became one of the first Victor Simonelli worked on as a remixer. At that time, Morales was stepping away from the industry while Victor was beginning his career. Although they had not met during the original release period, they later connected in the early 2000s, when Morales personally signed and gifted this copy to Victor.

This release showcases Morales’ extended mix format and late-1970s / 1980s New York disco lineage, including material by Inner Life (“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”), Universal Robot Band, Class Action, Margie Joseph and Tony Adderly.

The LPs have been preserved in the condition in which they were received and have never been played.
